There will be an advanced screening of Pitch Perfect tomorrow night (9/25/12) at the LSU Student Union Theater just for students!!!

• Doors open at 7:30 pm screening starts at 8 pm
• LSU ID required for entry and door prize giveaways
• First come, first serve until full

Pitch Perfect was filmed on the LSU campus last fall. Filming locations included the Quad, Swine Palace, the Greek Theatre and the Pentagon.

“[The producers] knew that they could count on the community and the crew here,” said Dawson Warner, Pitch Perfect location manager and 2004 LSU graduate. “That’s very important: Can the people in this town, given that they’re fairly new to film, get the job done?”

“We needed a lot of specific performance venues, and LSU has a ton of great performance venues,” said Elizabeth Banks, Pitch Perfect producer and Hollywood star in her own right. “LSU is clearly very supportive of its arts program.”

The movie is a story about Beca (Anna Kendrick), a girl who’d rather listen to what’s coming out of her headphones than what’s coming out of you. Arriving at her new college, she finds herself not right for any clique but somehow is muscled into one that she never would have picked on her own: alongside mean girls, sweet girls and weird girls whose only thing in common is how good they sound when they sing together. When Beca takes this acoustic singing group out of their world of traditional arrangements and perfect harmonies into all-new mash-ups, they fight to climb their way to the top of the cutthroat world of college a cappella.
