Over the next two weeks, there will be closures to a few campus streets and parking lots in order to make repairs. The streets that will be affected are CEBA Lane, West Lakeshore Drive and West Stadium Drive, and the parking lot that will be impacted is the West Stadium Lot.
Repairs to CEBA Lane should begin early next week and last approximately two weeks. Local access only will be allowed from South Stadium Road. During that time, Tiger Trails buses will be re-routed from CEBA Lane to Nicholson Drive, so riders who normally use the bus stops on CEBA Lane will need to instead use the bus stop at the corner of South Stadium Road and South Campus Road to use the Tigerland, Highland/Ben Hur and Highland/Burbank bus routes.
West Lakeshore Drive between Isaac Cline Drive and Dalrymple Drive will be closed to traffic for a week from Monday, August 6 through Friday, August 10, to allow for repairs to the road. Isaac Cline Drive, the street that runs between the LSU System Building and the LSU Lab School, will be used as a detour during this time, and will be set up for two-way traffic from the Lab School to Dalrymple Drive, so motorists are encouraged to use caution. Local access to the campus churches and the International Cultural Center will be allowed from Dalrymple Drive. The Tiger Trails bus route known as the Purple Route, which runs along West Lakeshore Drive, will be re-routed down Isaac Cline Drive.
West Stadium Parking Lot and West Stadium Drive will be closed for approximately two weeks to allow for the completion of the new entrance to Tiger Stadium. There will be access to the West Stadium gated parking lot and parking meters from North Stadium Road. The road and lot are expected to re-open on August 17.
